I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in the state of Texas. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling from SMU with a focus on Child and Adolescent Therapy. I have experience working in a variety of treatment settings including hospitals, nonprofits, schools, and private practice. I spent several years working with pediatric eating disorder patients at Children’s Health. I'm currently working towards becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and practice from a
non-diet approach.
My specialty areas include working with young children and adolescents supporting a range of psychological and emotional challenges. Additional areas of focus are supporting college students and young adults through life transitions.

Let's talk life transitions... they can sometimes feel constant and overwhelming. Many tweens and teens, and even young adults find themselves looking for support.
If you are experiencing difficulties with general overwhelm, self-esteem, anxiety, strained relationships, depression, self-harm or suicidality, know that there is hope and you are so worthy of it.
Play is an evidenced-based therapeutic modality founded on the understanding that toys are a child's words, and play is their language. Children communicate and co-regulate with play therapists while exploring and building skills to expand self-expression, self-knowledge, self-actualization and self-efficacy.
Play therapy can help overcome challenges related to overwhelming emotions, traumatic experiences, and interpersonal relationships. Ages 3-9*

Parent Support or Filial Therapy focuses on the child-parent relationship. We partner alongside parents providing therapeutic education and technique training.
Often parents are looking to decrease power struggles, increasing healthy communication and limit setting, disordered eating and eating disorder education and support, increase healthy emotional expression and decreasing feelings of general overwhelm by both the child and parent.
